Elaine Henderson, M.A., Speech Communication, is an experienced trainer and dynamic public speaker.

She has taught communication, marketing, and writing classes at Ohlone College, De Anza College, Evergreen Community College, DeVry University and California State University, Hayward, where she also received the distinction of Outstanding Graduate Instructor for three years.

Additionally, she worked as the Training and Education Manager for a large corporation in the Bay Area where she created a Training Department for six companies within the corporation.

As a trainer, Elaine has taught numerous courses, such as Basic Communication, Customer Service Skills, Leadership Skills, Team building, Effective Presentation, ESL, Conflict Resolution, Anger Management, Sexual Harassment, Mentoring and Management Skills, Motivation, Delegation, and Giving and Receiving Feedback.

Elaine also provides individual coaching for CEOs, Presidents and emerging leaders. Elaine has facilitated many experiential learning workshops for companies throughout California, Washington and Arizona.

Rae Ann Ianniello is the Director of Business Development for HCCA. With over 20 years of business background, Rae Ann has experience as a Human Resources Manager, Program Manager, Consultant, and College Professor. She has provided professional and consulting services for numerous organizations including Berg Electronics, Comac, City of Fremont, Clorox, Lam Research, NUMMI, Orcon Corporation, and Ross Stores.

Rae Ann received a Masters degree in Communication from California State University, Hayward, as well as a Certificate in Human Resource Management. She holds lifetime teaching credentials in both Language Arts and Office Technology. A dynamic, hands-on instructor, Rae Ann has developed and presented workshops in the areas of Communication, Business Writing, Business Strategy, Human Resources, and Organizational Development.

For over 20 years, Cherryll Sevy has been a Human Resources management and compensation consultant in the San Francisco Bay Area. As a professional trainer and speaker, she draws from her comprehensive background and varied experiences in Human Resources to educate and offer real time examples and client stories. Cherryll partners with organizations and teams to successfully develop innovative, effective and practical solutions to the “people side” of businesses. Cherryll works with clients to develop strategic Human Resource programs, retention and talent management, and compensation plans to link people and performance with business goals and the corporation strategies.

Cherryll’s speaking style is engaging, humorous, and filled with practical and up to date information. Audiences and participants are inspired by her enthusiasm, and given practical information they can take back to their companies and implement right away to make their organizations better places to work.

Cherryll’s professional career spans over 20 years with her own firm, and held management positions with several high technology companies in Silicon Valley. She graduated from UC Santa Barbara and earned an MBA at Santa Clara University.

Vivian Grijalva has a BA in Spanish and French from Montclair University. She has over 10 years of experience as a sales professional in mortgage lending and financial marketing.

Having taught for 10 years, she uses her bilingual skills in Spanish where she has translated and interpreted independently as a consultant and tutor.

Her excellent communication and presentation skills enable her to work effectively with a diverse audience.

John Skerl

John Skerl began his career in the automotive industry at the General Motors Assembly plant in Fremont, California. Hired as a production team member, he advanced to production supervisor, working in several capacities until the plant closed in 1982.

In 1984, John returned to the Fremont auto plant, New United Motor Manufacturing, Inc. (NUMMI), a joint venture between General Motors and Toyota.  During his 21 years with NUMMI, John held several positions in Manufacturing, Safety, Human Resources, and Labor Relations. He was promoted to Assistant Manager in Training and Development in 1995. During his tenure, he earned certifications as a Master Trainer in PDCA, Standardized Work, Job Instruction Training, Practical Kaizen Training and Group Leader and Team Leader Development Training. He is one of only two people to attain Master Training Status in Practical Problem Solving within the Toyota family. He has trained team members as well as executives in the Toyota Way, Problem Solving, and Lean Manufacturing principles and philosophies throughout Toyota’s facilities in both North America and Europe.

Since 2006, he has been a highly sought after consultant and trainer, working for Optiprise Consultants. His assignments included implementing the Hertz Improvement Process for the Hertz organization at their rental locations in the United States and implementing lean tools and processes for Siemens International. He is currently working with a local college to provide training to various industries in California.
